TV2 Garners People's Choice Telly & Edward R. Murrow Awards

TV2 (Innovative Cable TV Channel 2) News team members brought accolades to their station with their participation in two distinct television specials.

A 2011 Regional Edward R. Murrow Award was presented to producer and reporter Allison Bourne-Vanneck for Television, Small Market - Video Feature Reporting, for "S.U.D.S. A Bronze 2011 Peoples Telly Award was won for "Haiti Road to Recovery:  V.I. Heroes" by News Anchor Sandra Goomansingh and TV2 News Director Netfa Romain.  The Telly Awards honor exceptional video production for commercial and public service, on television, cable, and the web.  The Peoples Telly is hosted in conjuction with YouTube, and winners are chosen by online voting.  View the video online and see all entries posted for the 2011 Telly Awards.
