February 25, 2006 – San Francisco, CA: The Caribbean Cove was delighted to host on Saturday, February 18, 2006, Reggae recording artist, and star of the 1978 hit Jamaica film “Rockers”, Leroy Wallace, who played the character “Horsemouth” in the film.
Mr. Wallace was brought to the ‘Cove’ by a friend from Santa Rosa, and tucked into a whole heap of Chef O’Loughlin’s Ackee and Saltfish. At the time of its release, “Rockers” was billed as “The Harder They Come meets Hard Days Night” and is renowned for its assemblage of reggae greats and depiction of Jamaican life. Mr. Wallace held an impromptu autograph session, signing menus, napkins and The Caribbean Cove guest book.
