CARIBIA SITE REVIEW: Jon Lucien, Tortola, British Virgin Islands

(Originally published at OnePaper.com)

International recording artist Jon Lucien has never wanted for devotion from his legions of fans. The artist appears to transcend the usual expectations of celebrity; calling his admirers ‘fans’ does not pay tribute to how they embrace his absolute humanity. At long last, Mr. Lucien has created a spot in cyberspace for his devotees to slake their thirst for news and contact.
There is a busy simplicity about the index page, which contains links to a bio, email contact, a photo gallery, media reviews, events calendar, booking information, releases, and Lucien’s ‘song poems’ – transcriptions of lyrics from Jon’s oeuvre that are refreshed periodically. RealAudio samples exist throughout the discography page, with a personal greeting from Jon on the first page.
JonLucien.com is hosted at JazzCorner, which publishes dozens and dozens of other Jazz artisans; its gateway links are at the top of each page. For those who would like to order titles, secure server ordering is available through JazzCorner; once you click the ‘order now’ buttons on the discography page, you will need to choose the ‘E-L’ (by artist’s last name) button and scroll to the list of works that are available from Jon Lucien.
Jon Lucien’s website combines functionality with a sense of cool – you will want to bookmark this puppy!
